Bookings Manager

Our Scout Huts crucial for Scouting, to have space indoors where we can run Scouting activities in a safe and controlled environment.

We also view our premises as a community resource, we do not charge the earth to allow local clubs, groups and organisations to hire out our premises, likewise our premises are available for birthday parties and other similar social gatherings … the main stipulation of hire is that they are left in a suitable condition for the next users.

Hut Bookings are done via email, queries are received about availability on specific dates/times, checked against a per-hut diary and a booking may then be taken.

Payment details are sent out along with confirmation … and that’s it.

Our regular hirers all have their own sets of keys, occasional hirers may need the hut opening for them or keys dropped off.

Although this voluntary role takes just a small amount of time, it makes a huge difference to the success of the group.
