Due to the explosion of joining requests in 2021, we are delighted to announce the opening in early 2022 of Chetham Beavers who will be meeting on a Wednesday Evening at Woodbourne Road.

The name “Chetham” is based upon our ongoing Beaver naming theme of Famous Mancunians and is named after Humphrey Chetham (1580 – 1653) who founded Chetham’s Library, the first Public Library in the English speaking world along with Chetham’s Hospital and Chetham’s School of Music.
