Leaders

“Leaders” refers to our adult volunteers, no matter what Section they support or what role they play, no matter whether they wear a uniform shirt or not … they are all Leaders.

Every Leader in Scouting is a volunteer, they may be the Parent of one of our young members, they may be a former member themselves, they may be a Parent of a former member or they may have never been a Parent … what ALL Leaders have in common is that they have a Heart of Gold … giving up their own free time for the good of the young people in our Community … all year round, often for years on end … not because they have to but because they choose to.

There are many roles for Adult Volunteers in Scouting, whether you choose to put on a Uniform or not … see our page on Adult Volunteers for details.

Amazing Things for You

Always write benefits over features. Mention all the benefits or services with some real examples. Focus on how you can help and benefit your user. Use simple words so that you don’t confuse people. Say as much in as few words as possible.
